. >> a suspect is in police custody tonight.charged with killing a man during a family party in concord. kron 4's alecia reid has the details. neighbors tells us it was a party for a 12 year old. an argument turned deadly and police were called to the scene. officials say during the altercation at the park virginia garden apartments saturday night, 25 year old ismael garcia-ramirez was shot in the head. the attack happened in the parking lot of 10-90 mi casa court. it was a big party. people were left scrambling to safety when police arrived, witnesses described the suspect, 29 year old vincent ochoa and his vehicle ---- which led police to him. after a search of the area, authorities found ochoa at his apartment on monument boulevard near victory lane --- not far from the crime scene. ochoa was arrested without incident. he's being charged with first degree homicide. we're told this is the first official homicide in concord since october of 2011. in the newsroom alecia reid kron 4 news. tonight was a big game for the warriors as they are looking to clinch a spot in the playoffs. kron 4's scott r

in concord made an arrest in the city's first homicide. 25-year-old man of brentwood was shot to death during a large party near monument boulevard last night. witnesses gave description of the gunman and they arrested a man at an apartment complex nearby and argument preceded the shooting. >> after a standoff in santa rosa, police arrested a wanted man. officers tracked down 22-year-old eric pinetta to a home in santa rosa last night. he surrendered about an hour later. there were three outstanding warrants out for his arrest. he was also wanted on ading and child endangerment charges leading police on a chase with his 15-month-old son in his car. >> a reward is being offered to help find someone who illegally shot a goose in napa with an arrow. the goose had an arrow through its next. it has the initials "k" "h" and $5,000 reward is to find the person who shot the goose who is recovering. >>> landfill workers voted to strike this afternoon but they haven't revealed whether they will walk off the job in livermore. waste management workers who refused to go to work during a strike at the land

marzullo has much more on the developments in the next half hour. >> from concord, contra costa county, a school district is looking for a new superintendent and our media partner, the condition con times -- "contra costa times" reported to release the school superintendent and the general counsel. the two had contracts on the job until next june. board members stated in the past they wanted a change in leadership because of low morale and a lack of public trust in the district. in contra costa county, antioch police arrested a juvenile who admitted to calling in three bomb threats. two were made to deer valley high school and the other to black diamond middle school. police identified the suspect and took him into custody. deer valley was the victim of four other bomb threats there week. antioch high school received one on wednesday. the threats are under investigation. >> two sisters is been accused of abusing chin at a daycare center. family members say the two sisters, 35 and 32 are both pregnant. the two sisters made the first court appearance yesterday. they are accused of using

night at the macy's in sun valley mall in concord. witnesses say three men ran in, they broke open jewelry cases with a hammer, stole several pieces of jewelry, and they ran out of the store. they were wearing jackets with hoods over their heads so police do not have a good description of them. they believe the men got away in a toyota camry. police later found that car in pleasant hill. it, of course, was abandoned. they believe the toyota was stolen. police assume they got into another car and got away. no one saw that car. no one knows where it looks like. no one was hurt. this was quick. there was a call to police that shots were fired so they were worried about that when they got on the scene but they determined no shots were fired, it was a quick, planned out attack get manage and getting out and getting away. >> it is 4:38. happening now, petaluma police are sending if a couple in connection with a heist yesterday. the woman this this photo entered the department store, loaded two were soming carts with merchandise and placed them near a store exit and a man driving this blu
